Chapter 13 is up and on time!

Thad makes a friend in Kranack.  Trip and Sarah have a final showdown in the Citadel.

The first third of this podcast is one of my favorite pieces of my own writing.  The last third is one of the raciest things I have ever written.

The look of angry defeat on his face was almost everything she wanted. She stood naked at the window, her arm through the bars, and the diary wrapped in the sheet. She held it as far out as she could reach ready to drop at a moment’s notice. “What do you want?” he asked.

Another Chapter in. Roughly eight more to go.

Everyone is now moving into place. Trip, Sarah, Thad, Celia, and Kranack are all about to walk into something very, very big. You and I will know what it is by the end of the next Chapter. The five of them will need to figure it out among themselves.

Trip looked at the chair again. It was an exquisite chair by the standards of a visiting mercenary. It would classify as little more than “acceptable” in higher circles. It would have to be his bed tonight. Sarah had shoved the two pillows against the headboard and sat cross-legged against them. Her toes tapped against the serving tray as she ate from it.

Chapter 11 is live!

Doing this every other week feels better.  As this nears its conclusion I do want and hope to return a weekly format before taking a break and heading to book 2.
